Licensed Agent and Lawyer in Vanuatu. He also serves as Honorable member of Parliament (MP) in Vanuatu. He is a legal practitioner in the private sector, advised the government of Vanuatu, non-governmental organizations, corporate entities in Vanuatu.
Hon. Justin Ngwele MP is the senior partner of Pacific Law Ltd, Vanuatu. He specializes in criminal law, real estate law, corporate law, immigration, commercial, family law, finance and banking in Vanuatu. He is also licensed agent for Vanuatu citizenship by investment (DSP).
Previously He was a Partner in the law firm Indigene Lawyers. Mr Ngwele is a seasoned legal practitioner and has been practicing law for more than 18 years. A graduate of the University of the South Pacific LLB Bachelors of Law Program at Emalus Law school in Port Vila, Republic of Vanuatu. He graduated in 2004. In 2005 he obtained his Professional Diploma in Legal Practice (PDLP) from the Institute of Justice and Applied Legal Studies in Suva, Republic of Fiji. He is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in both the Republic of Vanuatu and Republic of Fiji. After PDLP studies in late 2005 he commenced work as a solicitor at the law firm of M.A Khan & Associates in Fiji. In April 2006 he was appointed as a State Counsel with the Office of the Attorney General in Vanuatu.
In 2012 having resigned from the Office of the Attorney General he joined Indigene Lawyers. In 2022 he left Indigene Lawyers to concentrate on a career in politics. During his career as a legal practitioner in the private sector Mr Ngwele has advised the government of Vanuatu, non-governmental organizations, corporate entities in Vanuatu. He has assisted other international law firms with legal issues in Vanuatu. He was instrumental in the corporate takeover of Westpac by Bank South Pacific in Vanuatu assisting BSP lawyer Ari Jenshel. He has also provided legal advice and representation to both clients in Vanuatu and also around the Pacific, United Kingdom, France, China, Nigeria, USA, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates and Central America.
Mr. Ngwele in October 2022 stood for National Parliamentary elections and was elected as a Member of Parliament representing Port Vila constituency. He now devotes his time between his duties as a legal practitioner and as a Parliamentarian.
