We provide you some of the latest updates on the CBI schemes that are suspended as of today.
As of today, there are three citizenship by investment programs remains suspended. No applications are accepted for these programs. This means you cannot apply for any of these schemes
Out of these three programs, two programs operated by EU member states (Malta and Cyprus).
Moldova is not in EU neither part of schengen. Montenegro is the only country in Europe that officially operates a CIP. This scheme remains open but only limited to 2000 investors and will close by the Dec 2021 .

Montenegro is the only country in Europe that officially operates a CIP. This special scheme remains open but only limited to 2000 investors and will close by the Dec 2021. It is a pretty interesting program considering Montenegro is a candidate country for EU accession in five years or so.
All other programs in the Caribbean and in the pacific (Vanuatu) are fully operational without any interruptions.
Golden visa programs that offer only residency instead of citizenship (eg. Portugal, Greece) remains active and operational accepting applications.
