The Grenada citizenship by investment unit has announced ban on four countries applying for the CBI program. Nationals of these countries cannot apply for Grenada’s coveted citizenship by investment program.

Grenada made amendments to CBI, ppplications are no longer accepted from Russia and Belarus as of March 31, 2023 due to Russia-Ukraine tensions. Grenada remains committed to the six (6) CBI Principles agreed upon between the United States Treasury and the five (5) governments of the Eastern Caribbean Investment Migration programmes on February 25th, 2023.
Grenada implemented mandatory interview of candidates applying for CBI from Sep 4, 2023. All applicants above 17 years have to attend interview before being approved of citizenship. Any applicant previously rejected for citizenship are automatically disqualified for Grenada.
Prospective investors applying with their families must have clean criminal record, no visa rejection from waiver countries and must satisfy financial requirements set by the CBI program. Two investment options available: Donation and real estate. The CBI Unit has warned clients not apply for any discounting schemes promoted by unlicensed agents undercutting the minimum investment required by authorities.
