Vanuatu Strengthens Financial Oversight of CBI program

The Vanuatu government under the new chairman Charles Manial, has taken another step introducing a new system of revised invoicing process for application fee collection, that integrates directly with the Ministry of Finance and the Treasury Department, ensuring that all application fees are deposited into the government treasury. The new change will come into immediate effect and has been notified to all agents.

All application fees are deposited into the government treasury.

The new system will feature automated invoicing, standardised payment procedure ensures accountability boosting the credibility of the Vanuatu’s citizenship by investment program from abuse and corrupt practises.

Implementation of these controls reinforces the Commission’s duty to maintain the integrity of Vanuatu’s citizenship programmes.
