We get a lot of questions from interested clients asking about breakdown of golden visa fees in Portugal. We explain below in simple terms.
The Portugal golden visa fee consists of two parts:
- Lawyer/Legal fee – €5,000 – €8,000 (covers 5 yrs until citizenship includes family). Some private lawyers charge 2000 euro per year. It is advisable to hire a lawyer but not required.
- AIMA fees – €12,696.70 (covers 5 years residence permit per applicant). Includes biometrics.
If you have a family applying, simply multiply the AIMA fees with total family members. It is important to note that above fees covers fully for 5 years including renewals.
