The Commonwealth of Dominica Citizenship by Investment Unit (CBIU) is the government authority that administers the programme, managing everything from the application process to finding new investment opportunities.
The CBIU of Dominica is headed by Marie-Therese Johnson.
Johnson’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for the country, as they are celebrating more than three decades of its Citizenship by Investment Programme. Her deep expertise in the financial services sector strengthens Dominica’s position in the investment migration industry and delivers value to all its stakeholders.
Johnson served as the General Manager at AID Bank where she was entrusted with the day-to-day management, direction, and control of the business. She was also responsible for providing strategic advice to the Board of Directors to ensure the implementation of a strong risk, compliance and governance framework while promoting the corporate image of the institution.
The CBIU is responsible for overseeing and managing the country’s successful CBI programme, which has gained international recognition.
