The Caribbean Citizenship by Investment programs make it easy to add future family members through post citizenship additions. One of the most important benefits of Caribbean CBI programs is addition of dependents for citizenship at a later time. 1. St.Kitts & Nevis
If you want to add any dependent (eg. New born child) to receive SKN citizenship, as a post addition, dependents aged 16 and over will be required to undergo a background check. Due diligence fee in the amount of $7,500.00. Documents are to be apostilled where applicable.
Therefore, applicants will pay $7,500 each plus the application form fees of $ 250.00 each. If a year has gone by since the original applicant submitted his or her original application, then he or she also has to undergo follow-up due diligence at a cost of $7,500.00 and submit an updated application form at $250.00.
- Citizen – $7,500 + 250
- Spouse/ any dependent 16 and over $7,500+ 250
- Minor (under 16 years old) $250
If approval is granted the government fees would be US$30,000 per dependent regardless of dependent category. The authorised agent fee is TBD, the bank compliance fee is $500, the passport fee is $450 and the courier fee is $200. The grand total is $52,200.
2. Dominica
A person who obtained citizenship through the Programme may register as a naturalised citizen of the Commonwealth of Dominica a child born or adopted not more than five years after that person obtained citizenship.
- New born child – $2000*
- Spouse – $75,000* plus Due diligence fee
- Dependent – $50,000* (for each dependant other than the spouse or a sibling of the main applicant or of the spouse of the main applicant who is eighteen to twenty five years)
*Plus $7500 DD fee, $1000 processing fee + $1000 interview fee
Note: Due diligence background checks apply on the original applicant for an application submitted more than one year after the date of submission of the original application
3. Grenada
Grenada permits only new born child can be added post granting citizenship within 12 months of birth. The cost to add future new born child addition is $5000. Other dependents not possible must be included at start of application.
4. Antigua & Barbuda
Antigua has a super flexible family oriented citizenship by investment program. If you have already obtained antiguan citizenship, recent amendments to CBI laws makes it possible to get additional citizenship to your family members extended to third generation for an additional fee.

5. St Lucia
St.Lucia citizen (granted through the CIP program) may add-on a qualifying dependent for the grant of citizenship by making an investment into the National Economic Fund.
- Newborn child of a citizen (child of 12 months of age & below): US$ 5,000
- Spouse of a citizen: US$ 35,000
- Qualifying dependent of a citizen (other than a spouse): US$ 25,000
Due diligence is only conducted on all applicants above the age of 16 years and requires a payment of US$ 5000.
