The Grenada CBI Unit has issued new guidelines for signing application forms and attestation of documents with citizenship by investment applications. The new guidelines will apply to all applications submitted on or after October 16, 2023..

  1. Credentials – The contact details and details of the certifying or witnessing person’s credentials must be submitted with the certification.
  2. Certified True Copy – Certified by a lawyer or notary public in the jurisdiction where the applicant is physically located (includes a legal consultant in the case of UAE). The original document in physical form must be presented to the certifier.
  3. Affidavits – witnessed by a lawyer or notary public in the jurisdiction where the applicant is physically located (includes a legal consultant in UAE), or remotely by a Grenadian notary public.
  4.  Application Form 1 – witnessed by a lawyer or notary public in the jurisdiction where the applicant is physically located (includes a legal consultant in the case of UAE), or remotely by a Grenadian notary public.
  5.  Oath of Allegiance – Must be sworn before a Notary Public or Commissioner for Taking Oaths in the jurisdiction where the applicant is physically located, or remotely by a Grenadian notary public. Heads of Mission to be appointed as a Commissioner for Taking Oaths.
  6. Interviews – The main applicant, spouse, sponsor, and any dependents seventeen (17) years and over will be required to attend mandatory interviews.
  7. Payments – Incoming wires, CBI related wires will not be processed in Sterling and EURO currencies.
