The Quebec government has announced new increase in fees for immigrant investor program applications, which will be effective from Jan 1, 2019. The application processing fee will increase by CAD$ 261

*The fee payable for an application submitted under the Investor Program covers the entire file of the principal applicant and includes accompanying family members.
The new increase of application fees by 1.71% corresponds to the increase in the Québec consumer price index for the period ending on September 30, 2018. It complies with the requirements of Section 83.3 of the Financial Administration Act.
The increase affects the fees payable under An Act respecting immigration to Québec, as well as the fees required to apply for an Évaluation comparative des études effectuées hors du Québec (comparative evaluation for studies done outside Québec).
Quebec immigrant investor is currently open and will run until March 15, 2019 and is limited to 1900 applicants. A maximum of 1,235 applications from foreign nationals from the People’s Republic of China, including the administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao, will be accepted.
